Wherever You Are, Give Thanks!

A few degrees cooler today and it feels great!  I believe we are definitely moving into Fall weather!  Our Lesson this Sunday is on: "Wherever You Are, Give Thanks!"  Let us all make a commitment to "Honor Thy Father & Mother" by pausing many times during the day and give thanks for our healthy bodies, our good memory and our energetic feelings of zeal and enthusiasm for Life!  God, our Source and Creative Power has both Masculine and Feminine qualities.  These Divine Ideas or "qualities" are freely available for us to use in all our endeavors; but, we must make an inner commitment to work in partnership with our Higher Power ... this means, pause and mentally give Thanks for all the Good that you freely have.

I read a brief article that said, in effect: "Everyone is making a commitment every waking moment.  Some make the commitment to just do nothing and that is a choice." (from the writings of Dr. Howard Thurman).  So, I would encourage you to make a commitment to live a superior life and give thanks for it, every moment of your day.

Our special Guest Music Director this Sunday is Matthew Lamy!  He is fairly new on our musical team and was referred to us by Marc Bosserman. Matt Lamy is a very skilled musician and we are glad to have him!

Reminder: Thursday Study Class begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m.  We are reading the book: Finding Yourself in Transition by Rev. Robert Brumet.  This Thursday, the Lesson is on Chapter 8 "New Beginnings: The Promised Land?"  Feel free to join in the discussion, prayer and meditation.  Facilitator: Rev Jeri Linn.  Love Offering.

Give Thanks Wherever You Are today, this weekend and Know in Truth: "I AM Experiencing Only My Highest Good Here and Now!"

Loving Blessings,

Rev. Jeri Linn
