Living in Abundance

Thank you, God for good air conditioning!  We will have to live with high summer temperatures for a while; but, it will ease up.  Be patient!

This Sunday's Lesson, "Living in Abundance," is inspired by our new Silent Unity booklet: "The Power of Prayer."  Unity and all New Thought Ministries teach that it is our Divine Right to live prosperous lives.  It is the Father's Good Pleasure to Bless each one of us with Divine Ideas that naturally lead us to creative pathways of prosperous living.  In Unity, we learn that denying lack, limitation and fear thoughts are our beginning steps to enjoying inner peace and prosperity.

After a short break following the Lesson, we are honored to offer a Unity Celebration of Life service for Marlene Goodale Hall, beloved wife of Marshall Hall.  Her service begins promptly at 12:30 p.m. in the CSL Sanctuary.  The service is officiated by Rev. Jeri Linn, music by Ann Louise Christensen.  There are three (3) special guest speakers near the end of the Celebration of Life service: Rev. Dr. Beverly Craig, Sandra Stark Shields, RScP and Marshall Hall, beloved husband of Marlene Goodale Hall.

If you can attend the Celebration of Life service at 12:30 p.m., I know it would mean so much to Marshall.  There will be a Guest Memory Book in the Foyer for you to sign.  This will be one of the keepsakes for Marshall to keep.

Our Guest Music Director this Sunday is doing "Double Duty," playing for both the regular Sunday Lesson at 11:30 a.m. and after a short break, playing for the Unity Celebration of Life service.  Ann Louise Christensen's company is Christensen Music.  She has a beautiful web site and is available for piano lessons and performances.  We are blessed to have her on our Music Team!

Gratitude to our Hospitality Team: Rick & Patti Halliday, Janet Bailey and Marshall Hall...plus, all the donations of delicious side dishes, desserts and salads!

Our Thursday morning class on Resilience: Adventures in igniting the 12 Powers... meets at 11:00 a.m. in the Child's Classroom.  We end at 12:00 p.m. Noon, blessing the class with a love offering.  Hope to see you in class!

Blessing You with "Avalanches of Abundance!" as Rev. Jack Addington would often say.

Rev. Jeri Linn
